Beauty is not what you think it is

Deep down I'm still that little girl with big glasses and thickly-wired braces. Trying hard to make friends, please everyone, apologising too much and getting stepped on way too much.

I've learned that beauty is not a cutaneously limited quality, but that it can be defined the a person's personality and outlook.

P.S. The TV show "Ugly Betty" disappointed me, but I loved her character.

12 Days of Christmas (Indian style)
Firstly, I want to say that I've posted this in attempt to show a light-hearted twist on a Christmas carol but with no intention of offending anyone!

Hello once again to all the readers out there. It shall be confirmed that I am now on holidays and shall attempt to entice the readers with a little snippet from YouTube that a family member showed me. And I have to admit, it's pretty clever (gotta love that dancing too!) I wonder how the person who posted it on YouTube (I assume they came up with it), who is from America could readily identify with Aussies with such references... hmmmm (oh wait, just did my research and learned that Mark Holden pinched "touchdown" from one of the American Idol judges... ha). But there are other references as well. Anyway, I figured it would be timely with the commencement of Advent, so enjoy!
