Beauty is not what you think it is


Deep down I'm still that little girl with big glasses and thickly-wired braces. Trying hard to make friends, please everyone, apologising too much and getting stepped on way too much.

I've learned that beauty is not a cutaneously limited quality, but that it can be defined the a person's personality and outlook.

P.S. The TV show "Ugly Betty" disappointed me, but I loved her character.

I agree that the concept of the show is good, it just doesn't seem all that engaging.
When a person is beautiful on the outside and vulnerable on the inside ... that makes for an intoxicating combination!
